Henry Moore: Monumental Nature transforms one of the world’s great botanical landscapes into a living encounter between sculpture, landscape, architecture and the enduring forms of nature.

At the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, London, Moore’s monumental sculptures have found an extraordinary setting. Henry Moore: Monumental Nature, running until 31 January 2027, brings together art and landscape across one of Britain’s most celebrated cultural and botanical landmarks. Presented in partnership with the Henry Moore Foundation, the exhibition is the largest and most comprehensive presentation of Moore’s work at Kew to date, placing 30 sculptures throughout Kew’s 320-acre landscape and within the magnificent Temperate House.

Vantage Point 13: Where Photography Becomes Memory, Evidence and Encounter

Sharjah: At Sharjah Art Foundation’s Photography Gallery, six artists stretch documentary photography beyond the act of recording, turning the image into a space for memory, belonging, absence and lived experience.

There is a particular expectation we carry into a photography exhibition: that the photograph will show us something. A person, a place, an event, perhaps a reality we have never encountered ourselves. Vantage Point 13 asks for something more. Walking through the exhibition at Sharjah Art Foundation’s Photography Gallery in Al Manakh, it becomes apparent that these photographs are not simply asking to be seen. They ask to be considered, revisited and, in some cases, questioned.

What are we really looking at when we look at a photograph? A record of what happened? A fragment of someone’s memory? An interpretation shaped by the person behind the camera? Or an image whose meaning changes according to the history and experience we bring to it? These questions quietly follow the visitor through the thirteenth edition of Vantage Point.

Bringing together newly commissioned bodies of work by Luisa Dörr, Latifa AlBokhari, Sathish Kumar, Adam Rouhana, Guanyu Xu and Maheder Haileselassie, the exhibition explores documentary photography at a moment when the idea of photographic “truth” has become increasingly complicated. Curated by Sara Al Mheiri, Assistant Curator, and Osemudiamen Ekore, Curatorial Assistant at Sharjah Art Foundation, Vantage Point 13 does not attempt to define documentary photography. Instead, it demonstrates just how expansive the field has become.

Paris: More than a century after Howard Carter’s extraordinary discovery in Egypt’s Valley of the Kings, the story of Tutankhamun continues to capture the global imagination. This summer, Paris has once again stepped into the mysterious world of the young pharaoh through “Tutankhamun: His Tomb and His Treasures,” which opened at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles on 3 July 2026 and continues until 6 September 2026. Presented across more than 2,500 square metres, the exhibition takes visitors beyond a conventional museum display, recreating the atmosphere, spatial arrangement and extraordinary visual richness of one of archaeology’s most famous discoveries.
At the centre of the experience is an extensive reconstruction of Tutankhamun’s tomb as it appeared when discovered in 1922, bringing together approximately 1,000 meticulously produced replicas created with reference to archaeological records, historical photographs, sketches, research and documentation. Importantly, the objects are not original antiquities from Tutankhamun’s treasure. Instead, the exhibition uses scientifically informed reproductions to reconstruct the archaeological context in a way that would be impossible with fragile original artefacts. This distinction ultimately becomes part of the exhibition’s strength: visitors can approach the reconstructed objects more closely and understand how the extraordinary accumulation of royal possessions once occupied the tomb.
