ADIHEX 2025 Concludes in Abu Dhabi: A Celebration of Heritage and Innovation

ADIHEX 2025 Unites Tradition and Innovation, wraps up with 379,572 visitors, global acclaim

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi once again became the global hub for heritage and innovation as the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2025 concluded at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 30 August to 7 September. The twenty-second edition of the ADIHEX has concluded after nine successful days, welcoming 379,572 visitors, marking a 9.2 percent increase compared to the 2024 edition. The event was held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, Organized by ADNEC Group, a subsidiary of Modon, in cooperation with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, this year’s edition was acclaimed locally and internationally by both exhibitors and visitors. It also set a new benchmark as the largest and most dynamic since the exhibition was first launched in 2003, reflecting the growing global attention it continues to attract.

Held under the theme “Celebrating Heritage and Innovation”, reaffirming ADIHEX’s status as the largest and most influential event of its kind in the region. The exhibition brought together hunters, equestrians, falconers, artisans, conservationists, and outdoor enthusiasts in a vibrant showcase that merged the UAE’s cultural legacy with modern advancements.

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has visited the 22nd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), held under the theme ‘The Legacy Lives On’ at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

During his tour, organized by ADNEC Group in collaboration with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, His Highness was briefed on national pavilions showcasing authentic Emirati heritage alongside innovative solutions that merge tradition with modernity. Sheikh Mohamed also explored several international stands featuring advanced products and sustainable practices in hunting and equestrian pursuits.

His Highness highlighted the significance of preserving cultural heritage and passing it on to future generations, affirming that ADIHEX reflects the values of authenticity and pride in national identity. Sheikh Mohamed noted the exhibition’s role in safeguarding falconry and equestrian traditions through sustainable approaches, environmentally conscious innovations, and forward-looking initiatives.

Praising the organization of the exhibition, Sheikh Mohamed described it as a model for hosting major international events and a global platform for cultural exchange that bridges past and present while showcasing Emirati capabilities in achieving renewed success with every edition. His Highness was accompanied by HH Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs; HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and several senior officials.

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, said: “ADIHEX is more than a cultural or sporting event; it shows how we preserve our heritage and pass it on to future generations in a modern way that safeguards our identity. The exhibition reflects the legacy of our forefathers, reinforces the UAE’s commitment to sustainability, and highlights the creativity of Emirati youth.We want this exhibition to remain a model in bringing the world together around the values of sport, environment and heritage, and an event that reaffirms the UAE’s position as a bridge between past and future, and between tradition and modernity.”

Accompanied by Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of ADNEC Group, HH Sheikh Hamdan visited several key pavilions, including the Caracal pavilion of EDGE Group, and the Al Ghadeer Crafts pavilion of the Emirates Red Crescent.

Majid Ali Al Mansouri, Secretary-General of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, emphasized that, “The 22nd edition of ADIHEX underscored Abu Dhabi’s global standing as a key hub for preserving Emirati heritage in hunting, equestrianism, and all traditional sports, as well as a distinguished economic center reflecting the diversity of its sectors and activities, offering opportunities for networking and exchange between exhibitors and visitors.”

“I also extend my sincere thanks to all sponsors and partners for their effective contributions to the success of this distinguished cultural and heritage event, describing it as an exceptional edition by all standards,” Al Mansouri noted.

Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group, noted that, “We are proud of the exceptional success achieved by the 2025 edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, which exceeded all expectations and set unprecedented records. Over its nine days, the exhibition attracted 379,572 visitors, representing a growth rate of 9.2 percent increase compared to the previous year.”

The event drew experts, specialists, enthusiasts, families, and heritage lovers from across the Emirates and worldwide, across the exhibition’s 15 sectors. “This success reflects the wise vision of the UAE’s leadership and its ongoing commitment to preserving cultural heritage, alongside supporting innovation and sustainability in various fields,” the ADNOC CEO highlighted. Al Dhaheri also revealed a major first for ADIHEX, “For the first time, eight falcon auctions were held featuring the best local and international falcons, four before the exhibition and four during it, which saw remarkable attendance from top bidders, enthusiasts, and professional falconers.”

The Managing Director added that momentum for 2026 is already strong, “More than 60 percent of exhibition space for the next edition has already been booked by exhibiting companies, an early indicator of the growing confidence and interest from exhibitors and brand owners. This remarkable growth in participation is clear evidence of the exhibition’s established status as a global platform for cultural and commercial exchange.”

Event Director Saad Al Hassani noted that the exhibition has reached new heights, “This edition succeeded in consolidating the exhibition’s status as a prestigious global platform for cultural exchange and for promoting the concepts of sustainable hunting and environmental protection. The rich diversity and depth of participation this year marked a turning point in the event’s history, setting new standards for excellence.

Al Hassani pointed out that, “The exhibition saw the participation of 46 elite local and international falcon breeding farms, offering visitors a unique opportunity to discover and acquire high-quality falcons from around the world. This edition also stood out for its focus on authentic Emirati heritage, under the theme ‘The Legacy Lives On’, embodying the spirit of authenticity and cultural openness.”

Spanning multiple categories, ADIHEX 2025 offered a diverse and engaging experience:

  • Falconry: Expert falconers demonstrated traditional practices while highlighting the latest innovations in falcon care and training.
  • Equestrian Arts: Spectacular horse shows and breed displays celebrated the legacy of Arabian horses and their enduring significance in Emirati culture.
  • Outdoor Equipment: Exhibitors presented a wide range of camping, safari, and adventure gear alongside cutting-edge firearms and hunting technologies.
  • Craftsmanship & Culture: Master artisans showcased unique handmade works, from knives and leather goods to calligraphy and fine art.

Beyond its cultural and sporting attractions, ADIHEX 2025 placed strong emphasis on sustainability and conservation. Educational talks and live demonstrations promoted responsible hunting, wildlife preservation, and innovative conservation practices, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to protecting both natural ecosystems and ancestral traditions. With its record-breaking achievements, ADIHEX 2025 reinforced its role as a global ambassador of Emirati heritage while showcasing innovation and sustainability. ADNEC Group confirmed that the exhibition will return in 2026 to ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi with even greater ambitions, expanding its program, hosting more exhibitors worldwide, and offering visitors an enhanced cultural and sporting experience.
