Featuring the works of 11 international artists hailing from 10 different nationalities, "Ecstasy" offered a unique exploration of artistic expression that transcended geographical boundaries. Each artist brought their own cultural perspective and personal narrative to the forefront, resulting in a vibrant tapestry of creativity that captivated and inspired. Curator Jesno Jackson commented, “The pieces I chose for "Ecstasy" immersed us as some of the best narratives do, in the midst of things. We entered with a kind of jolt and what we witnessed had something timeless about it. Like flipping to a page somewhere in the middle of a novel and beginning to read, we might not have known what was going on, but we gladly read on. While selecting work for this exhibit, I was taken aback by the many interpretations of this theme - including the ways in which each artist depicted their own unique revelations.”

Featuring the works of renowned international artists, this showcase promises to be a feast for the senses and a celebration of the human spirit. From the captivating cellular art of British artist Andrew Scanlan to the evocative expressions of Iran's Azin Rezaei and Elham Ghorbani Shad, each artist brings their unique perspective and human expressions and figurative study to the forefront. The notion that there is order inside chaos is one that Andrew Scanlan enjoys tinkering with. The way our minds interpret the world has always captivated him. Numerous tiny colored cells represent what we perceive. The cells appear more random the closer we look at them. The brain then puts these cells together to create a picture when we draw away. The artist utilizes this phenomenon as inspiration for his artwork. Elham Ghorbani Shad boldly navigates the vast terrain of human emotions through her artwork, with a particular focus on the portrayal of women. In a realm where the depiction of women has often been a subject of contention across different historical periods, she steers clear of societal debates and instead delves into the depths of human experience. In each brushstroke, she seeks to evoke a visceral response, inviting viewers to contemplate the essence of womanhood in its purest form. Through her art, she invites us to transcend the limitations of societal discourse and connect with the profound humanity that unites us all. Elham Ghorbani Shad from Iran present works infused with rich symbolism and emotional depth, inviting contemplation and introspection. Elham usually gain inspiration from nature and women figures in the everyday surroundings.
