"Monochrome Majesty – The Dialogue of Black, White & Gold," Art4you Gallery's most recent international exhibition, was unveiled at Mehromah Art Gallery in Dubai on 5th Nov, 2025, under the imaginative curatorship of Jesno Jackson. Through a varied collection of contemporary artworks, the show explored the harmony, contrast, and symbolic force of a color palette that has transcended trends: black, white, and gold. An amazing group of artists, architects, interior designers, collectors, and cultural supporters attended the opening evening, which represented a stunning fusion of great art and interior design. Prominent attendees and well-wishers graced the occasion, adding depth and importance to this creative conversation. The show was presented as a visual trip, with each hue telling a unique tale that was both modern and ageless, simple yet magnificent.

In her welcome address, Jesno Jackson, Founder and Chief Curator of Art4you Gallery, shared the concept behind the exhibition:
“Black, white, and gold are not merely colors, they are emotions, energies, and expressions of balance. Through this show, we wanted to bring together a visual conversation that speaks to both the heart of art and the soul of design.”

The exhibition featured artists from across the globe, including Phil Coleman, Sunanda Docherty, Perihan Marwan, Christina Gabriela B, Jeff Canare, Ruby Narag, Anju Choksi, Janvi Choksi, Prachi Kulkarni, Karoline Denisha, Aimee George, Yaashi Khatanhar, Nataliia Venerova, Salma Barakat, Banashree Sengupta and Karthika (Kay), among others. Each artist presented a distinct interpretation of the theme, from bold minimalism to intricate layering, from abstract reflections to symbolic figurations.

The artworks showcased in Monochrome Majesty revealed an extraordinary breadth of imagination and technique, transforming a restrained palette into a field of boundless expression. Painters explored the emotional depth of black and white through layered abstractions, fluid gestures, and controlled precision, allowing shadows, lines, and negative space to become active storytellers. Gold, used with both restraint and grandeur, appeared as halos of light, fragmented accents, or bold strokes, symbolizing resilience, inner radiance, and spiritual elevation.

Sculptural works added a compelling tactile dimension: pieces crafted from black clay, textured surfaces, and pressed gold leaf echoed the raw beauty of coral, earth, and organic forms. Their asymmetry and natural imperfections spoke to life’s own rhythms, blurring the boundary between art object and functional décor. Together, these paintings and sculptures formed a curated harmony that elevated contemporary interiors, demonstrating how monochrome and gold can create atmospheres of serenity, drama, and refinement. Each artwork carried its own narrative yet collectively contributed to a symphony of contrast and elegance, a visual dialogue where modern design met timeless artistry.

Monochrome Majesty stands as a tribute to the timeless dialogue between contrasts, light and shadow, simplicity and luxury, silence and expression. In every brushstroke and glint of gold, it echoed one truth: art, like life, finds its beauty in balance. Exhibition was successfully closed on Nov 12, 2025.
